Rita Levitt, 97, of West Bloomfield, MI, died on 24 May 2023. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Sunday, 28 May 2023 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi Harold Loss officiated. The family of Rita Levitt will be gathering through the evening of Monday, May 29 at the residence of Dr Jeffrey and Tracy Levitt, 3406 Circle Drive, Commerce Twp MI 48382. Family and friends will gather immediately following interment Sunday until 4:00 p.m. and begin again starting at 6:30 p.m., and on Monday beginning at 6:30 p.m. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Howard Levitt. Loving mother of Dr. Brian (Kathy) Levitt, Dr. Jeffrey (Tracy) Levitt and Jay Levitt. Adored grandmother of Gregory (fiancée Nicole Brand) Levitt, Lauren Levitt, Adam Levitt and the late Alexander Levitt. Dear sister of the late Fred (Ida) Herbst and the late Dr. Harold (Joanne) Herbst. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
