Robert “Bobby/Frenchy” Fisher

Robert “Bobby/Frenchy” Fisher passed away on March 10, 2023 at 86 years old in Los Angeles.

Bobby was a Detroit native and migrated to LA in 1965, after spending time in Germany as a captain in the Air Force. Survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Reggie, his sister Carolyn (Cookie) and her husband Richard Cogan, his kids, Cheryl Schneider and late husband Ian Schneider, Cathy Gurvis, Kevin (Jennifer) Fisher, Brian (Gaby) Fisher, and 10 grandchildren who were his life’s greatest joy. Bobby is also survived by his loving sister-in-law Doreen Hermelin and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who adored him.

A University of Michigan graduate, Bobby was a doctor of Internal Medicine with a specialty in Rheumatology. He loved skiing, afternoons on the golf course and was always watching sports. Bobby had a quick wit and loved telling jokes; his timing was perfect and his stories kept his friends and family laughing. He was known to be the last one on the dance floor at every party he attended. Bobby will be missed dearly, and his legacy will live on through endless stories and memories relived by his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 17 at 12:00pm at Hillside Memorial, 6001 W Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90045.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to The Rape Foundation (www.therapefoundation.com)
