Lorraine Trubowitz Gaynor, 95, of Denver, Colorado, died on 20 December 2022. The Funeral was held at The David Oppenheim Memorial Chapel at Machpelah Cemetery, 21701 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220 on Thursday, 29 December 2022 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Daniel Schwartz officiated. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Bernard Trubowitz and the late Dr. Alex Gaynor. Cherished mother of Dr. Neal Trubowitz (Dr. Beryl Rosenthal), Dr. Mark Trubowitz (Dr. Pamela Gates), Clifford Trubowitz, Dr. Laurence (Dawn) Gaynor, Michael (Kathleen) Gaynor, Jeffrey Gaynor, the late Cheri Gaynor. Loving grandmother of Brian Trubowitz and Sloane Kohnstamm, Joelle Trubowitz, Bernard Trubowitz, Elliot Trubowitz, Andrea (Laughlin) Allen and Justin Allen, Michelle (Gaynor) Buchin and Carl Buchin, Dr. Laura Agresta, Claire Agresta. Dear great-grandmother of Grady Allen, Clayton Allen, Dylan Buchin. Devoted aunt of Marshall and Leslie Trubowitz, Barry and Paul Ellstein, and Francine Moore. Admired sister of the late Norman Ellstein and the late Beatrice Ellstein, the late Delores (Ellstein) Moore, the late Ben Gaynor, and Ann Gaynor. Lorraine is fondly remembered by her dear friends Merrill and Susie Gordon and their children Carly Jaensch, Lindsey Weiss, and Jacob Gordon and Sheryl Kirman Silberstein. For those attending the funeral service, lunch will be served at the home of Merrill and Susie Gordon, 6935 N Springridge Rd, in the Franklin Corners Subdivision in West Bloomfield. Others are welcome to visit between 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the same home. As a safety precaution, the family is requesting that masks be worn indoors at the funeral and at the shiva house.
