Elisabeth Shubow, 74, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 14 December 2022. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 18 December 2022 at 2:30 PM . Rabbi Daniel Schwartz officiated. Shiva Information: The family of Elisabeth Shubow will gather through Tuesday evening, December 20 at the residence, 6034 Dunmore, West Bloomfield MI 48322. Religious services will be conducted on Sunday immediately upon returning from the cemetery and at 7:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. Obituary: Lis was born on May 16, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to S. Lawrence and Dolores Aronsson. She married the love of her life, Robert Shubow in 1969. Bob and Lis went on to have two cherished daughters, Jennifer and Lauren. Lis received her master’s degree in Information and Library Science from the University of Michigan, and became one of the most beloved librarians at the West Bloomfield Public Library. Lis is survived by her husband Robert, her children Jennifer (James) Shubow and Lauren (Mark) Shubow; her sisters Patricia (Emanual) Aronsson and Joyce (Ernest) Aronsson, and her nieces and nephews, Julie, Jeremy, Jason (Yoko), Jaimee (Frank), Eric (Megan), and Jessica. She is preceded in death by her parents Larry and Dolly and brother Richard.
