Zivia S. Grekin, 104, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 08 December 2022. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 12 December 2022 at 12:30 PM . Rabbi Joshua Whinston officiated. The family of Zivia S. Grekin will be gathering through the evening of Monday, December 12 at the residence of Linda Grekin, 1325 Bardstown Trail, Ann Arbor MI 48105. Family and friends will be gathering on Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Zivia S. Grekin, born Zivia Seltzer, October 26, 1918, died December 8, 2022. She was married to John N. Grekin for 72 years until he died in 2012. Zivia was the mother of Roger Grekin, deceased, Linda Shubow and Ken Grekin and mother-in-law to Linda Grekin and Danny Wood. Zivia had three grandchildren, Joe Grekin (Jenn McKee), Emily Grekin (Chris Russell), and Josh Grekin (Deleska Crocket) and six great-granddaughters, Abby and Kara Russell, Neve and Lily Grekin McKee and Maya and Zoey Grekin. She was a beloved aunt to Marty and Ruthie Seltzer. Zivia had a degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Education from Wayne State University. Her long life was filled with family, travel, adventure, music, books and much love. It is suggested that those who wish to further honor the memory of Zivia S.
