Charlotte Corlin, 95, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died after sunset on 06 December 2022. The Funeral was held at GRAVESIDE on Friday, 09 December 2022 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Joseph Krakoff officiated. Interment at Beth El Memorial Park, 28120 6 Mile Road, Livonia MI 48152.
The family of Charlotte Corlin will be gathering through the evening of Friday, December 09 at the residence of Terri and Howard Dembs, 5710 Cherry Crest Dr., West Bloomfield MI 48322. Charlotte Corlin, 95 years old, just ten days shy of her 96th birthday, passed away peacefully December 6th, 2022. Charlotte was the beloved wife of Sherwin Corlin for 74 years; mother of Rodney (Dolly) Corlin and Terri (Howard) Dembs; loving Nana of Bradley (Renee) Dembs; and Laura Corlin; sister-in-law of Gerald and Sharon Corlin; daughter of the late Bert and Lillian Schlain; daughter-in-law of the late Rae and Leonard Cohen; and sister of the late Abbott Schlain. Throughout her career as an Interior Designer, and long into retirement, Charlotte always made time to volunteer for causes close to her heart, such as Head Start; Yad Ezra Food Bank; Friendship Circle and in the gift shop of Danto. Charlotte was known for her style and class and was an avid reader who always liked the challenge of a complex crossword puzzle.
