Hannah Schanes, 87, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 02 December 2022.
The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Monday, 05 December 2022 at 11:00 AM .
Rabbi Joseph Krakoff officiated.

Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
The family of Hannah Schanes will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, December 06 at the residence of Steve and Cheryl Schanes, 757 Hanna, Birmingham MI 48009.
Family and friends will be gathering on Monday immediately following the interment until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday from 1:00-5:00 p.m. and from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Masks are recommended for the funeral service and the Shiva.
Family members include:
Beloved wife of the late Larry Schanes. Cherished mother of Dave Schanes, Steve (Cheryl) Schanes, and Dana Schanes Rhodes (partner Brad Gordon). Proud grandmother of Jaclyn (Brian) Gach, Jennifer (Josh Mendelsohn) Schanes, Lauren (Ryan) Strickstein, Erin Rhodes, and Jamie Rhodes. Adoring great-grandmother of Leni Gach, Josie Mendelsohn, Lainie Strickstein, Gabriella Strickstein, and the late Theo Strickstein. Loving sister of Sam (the late Arleen) Blumenstein. Devoted daughter of the late Bernard and the late Ruth Blumenstein. Also survived by her former son-in-law Michael Rhodes, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
