Austin Albert Kanter, 94, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 06 October 2022. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 09 October 2022 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss officiated. The family of Austin Albert Kanter will gather through Sunday evening, October 09 at Temple Israel, 5725 Walnut Lake Rd., West Bloomfield Township MI 48323. Family and friends will gather immediately following the graveside service through 5:00p.m. Family members include: Beloved husband of Faye Ullmann Kanter and the late Harriet Kanter. Cherished father of Daniel (Elizabeth Chilton) Kanter, the late Jerry (Sherry) Kanter, Liz (Eric) Kanter-Groskind, and Steven (Suzanne) Kleiff. Dear brother of the late Marge Adinoff. Adored grandfather of Jason (Rebecca) Kanter, Joshua (Allie) Kanter, Hannah Kanter, Hattie Groskind, Sam Groskind, and Emma Kleiff. Loving great-grandfather of Eleanor, Olivia, and Harrison Kanter, and Zoe and Ezra Kanter. Also survived by nieces Jan (Miles) Gordon and Pam Adinoff and their families, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
