Shiva information:
Family and friends will gather from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11 at Temple Israel, 5725 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48323. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening.

A true community leader, she will always be remembered for her political awareness, her positions as an attorney, an Oakland County Circuit Judge, as well as board positions on locally based organizations such as the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, Executive Committee of UJF, Temple Israel, holding a seat on the Beaumont Foundation Hospital board, supporter of JARC and Kadima/GESHER, only to name a few.

Deborah always considered herself fortunate to be able to give back to her community in many charitable and philanthropic ways and readily took advantage of being able to do so. Her community contributions also included volunteering as a Qualified Docent to help educate for the Detroit Holocaust Memorial Center, to prevent this type of situation from ever occurring again.

Deborah maintained many relationships within the community and beyond, including friends and colleagues, along with being the backbone of those extended family members listed above, coupled with promoting healthy and meaningful lives for her son, daughter, and grandchildren. Of course, she was always, and will continue to be a solid support for her husband of thirty-nine years through her everlasting love and spirit.

We, her family; friends and community will miss her dearly, but will never forget her.
