Iris Elaine Jaffe, 70, of Norwalk, Connecticut, died on 24 August 2021. The Funeral was held at Graveside at Beth El Memorial Park, 28120 W 6 Mile Rd, Livonia MI 48152 on Friday, 27 August 2021 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Jennifer Kaluzny officiated. The family of Iris Elaine Jaffe will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, August 29 at the residence of Andee and Dave Liberman, 6076 Dunmore Drive, West Bloomfield MI 48322. Family and friends will be gathering on Friday immediately following the service, on Saturday from 6:30-9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. The family is requesting that only vaccinated guests join the family at the shiva house. Religious services will be conducted on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Shiva will be continued at the home of Phil and Jamie Rubin, 5 Ambler Road, Westport, Connecticut on Monday and Tuesday, Aug 30-31 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Shiva minyan at 7:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Herbert Jaffe. Cherished mother of Bradley Jaffe and Philip (Jamie) Rubin. Proud Bubbie of Ashton Rubin and Leo Rubin. Loving sister of Gary (Mary) Horwitch. Dear aunt of Philip Horwitch and Samantha-Anne Nadolny. Iris was a retired Detroit public school teacher for over 30 years, Mahjong maven, reality TV enthusiast, and obsessed with everything black and white.
