FUNERAL DETAILS
Douglas BloomDouglas Bloom, 82, of Birmingham, Michigan, died on 22 July 2021. The Funeral was held at Graveside at Clover Hill Park Cemetery, 2425 E. 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Sunday, 25 July 2021 at 4:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss and Rabbi Jennifer Kaluzny officiated. At the graveside service at Clover Hill, masks are preferred for those that have been vaccinated and masks are required for those that have not been vaccinated. Family members include: Beloved husband of 42 years of Barbara Bloom. Cherished father of David (Boksook) Bloom, Matthew (Becky) Zuckerberg, and Andrew (Denise) Zuckerberg. Proud grandfather of Rachel (fiance Lucas Niewenhuis) Bloom, Sarah Bloom, Ashley (Alek) Mead, Claire Zuckerberg, Ben Zuckerberg, Lauren (Stu) Cooper, Erik (Andrew Derr) Rasmussen, and Alex Rasmussen. Loving brother of the late John Bloom. Dear brother-in-law of the late Ruth Ann Shapiro. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends, and his dedicated caregivers Glennis, Mariama, Charles, Abena, Ama, and Martha. The family of Douglas Bloom will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, July 25 at the residence, 945 Arlington, Birmingham MI 48009. The phone number is 248-642-3837. Family and friends will be gathering on Sunday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with religious services being held at 7:00 p.m. Anyone attending the shiva will be required to wear mask prior to entering the shiva house.
