Ruth F. Shpargel, 95, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, died on 21 April 2021.

The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE on Thursday, 22 April 2021 at 3:00 PM .

Rabbi Simcha Tolwin officiated.

Family members include:
Beloved wife of the late Sol Shpargel. Cherished mother of Jerold (Shirley) Shpargel, Nancy (Douglas) Mushen, and David (Monica Daffin) Shpargel. Proud grandmother of Scott (Mary) Litt, Stacy Dinkins, Sara (Jason Goldberg) Shpargel, Karl (Tara) Shpargel, Rebecca (Jim) Torres, and Seth (Polly) Shpargel. Adoring great-grandmother of Hannah, Elyse, Jonah, Marc, Jack, Alex, Eliyahu, Nechama, Naftali, Simcha, Miriam, and Yehudah. Loving sister of Selma (the late Herbert) Stoorman, the late Sheldon Metz, and the late Betty (the late Richard) Wood. Dear sister-in-law of Joyce Metz.

Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 25 people inside and 50 at graveside.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.
