FUNERAL DETAILS
Iris Ann FynkeIris Ann Fynke, 93, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died after sunset on 23 March 2021. The Funeral was a private family graveside service on Friday, 26 March 2021 at 1:30 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Neil Michaels officiated. Click to watch a video of the recorded service. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Fynke. Cherished mother of Max (Ilona) Fynke, Mindi Fynke (Dr. Howard Wright), and Tod (Laurie) Fynke. Loving Grandma Iris of Nicole (Matt) Lester, Alexandra (Joel) Browning, Adam Fynke, Julie Fynke and Rachel (Levi) Strauss. Proud great-grandmother of Elliah and Asa Lester, Neve and Chase Browning, Leo and Goldie Strauss. Also survived by her loving friend, companion, and caregiver Mary Taylor; and special thanks to Maria Tatu, Louise Prewitt and Jackie Patrick. Devoted daughter of the late Max Kerner, the late Flora Kerner Kovan (the late Dr. Dennis Kovan). Sister of the late Shirley Kerner and the late Elaine (Cy) Seltzer. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 25 people inside and 50 at graveside.
