Shirlie Levy, 95, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died on 17 November 2020.

The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE on Friday, 20 November 2020 at 10:00 AM .

Rabbi Matthew Zerwekh officiated.

Family members include:
Beloved wife of the late Dr. David Levy. Cherished mother of Robyn (Robert) Weltman, Vikki (Arthur) Rothschild, Lynne Levy Cooper, the late Sheryl Kahn, the late Lori Burton, the late Jonathan Levy, and the late Scottie Levy. Dear mother-in-law of Dr. Stephen Burton and Camille Levy. Proud grandmother of Karlie Weltman, Peter Weltman, Trevor (Van) Weltman, Barry (Molly) Rothschild, Benno Rothschild, Zachery (fiancee Chelsea Este) Cooper, Rachel (Zachary) Logan, Charley Cooper, Andy Burton, Jason (Scott Richardson) Burton, Aaron (Sara Wille) Burton, Jessie Levy, and Tony Levy. Adoring great-grandmother of Dolly and Lana Weltman, Elijah, Levi, and Lacey Logan, and Ellie Burton. Loving sister of the late Muriel Casselman and the late Dr. Rodney Shaw. Dear sister-in-law of the late Doyle Levy.

Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 36.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.
