Gregory Maltz, 64, of Oak Park, Michigan, died after sunset on 24 July 2020. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Monday, 27 July 2020 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Dovid Polter officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Family members include: Cherished brother of Nancy (Dr. David) Schindler and the late Richard Maltz. Devoted son of the late Jack and the late Helen Maltz. Loving uncle of Lisa (Matthew Murray) Schindler-Murray and Michael Schindler. Dear nephew of Gordon (Betty) Maltz and Janet Schindler. Also survived by other loving relatives and many close friends. Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 36.
Shiva will be held at Nancy Schindler's house Monday through Thursday. Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19, the number of people will be restricted, so to accommodate this if you wish to come and pay your respects, please text (or if not able to then call) David Schindler at (248)756-7670.
