Dr. Melvin A. Lester, 83, of Franklin, Michigan, died after sunset on 08 December 2019. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 10 December 2019 at 1:00 PM . The family of Dr. Melvin A. Lester will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, December 11 at the residence of Matthew and Nicole Lester, 5625 Shadow Lane, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. Friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday immediately following the interment and on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. THERE IS AN AIRBORNE ALL-NUT ALLERGY IN THE FAMILY, SO PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANYTHING WITH NUTS OR NUT PRODUCTS TO THE SHIVA HOUSE. Family members include: Beloved husband of the late Geraldine Lester. Cherished father of Stefany (Gary) Freeman, Kenneth (Pam) Lester, Matthew (Nicole) Lester, and Jennifer (partner Kim LeMaire) Lester. Loving Papa Mel of Jacob (Tracey) Freeman, Spencer (Rosie Nocita) Freeman, Bradley Freeman, Nicole (Matt) Riskin, Abby Lester, Cory Lester, Hannah Lester, Elliah Lester, and Asa Lester.
