Ellen Kotlus, 72, of Troy, Michigan, died on 16 August 2019. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 27 August 2019 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi Aura Ahuvia officiated. Family members include: Beloved wife of 37 years of Max Gates. Cherished mother of Maia (Michael) McGrath and Aaron Kotlus-Gates. Proud grandmother of Travis Cameron Gates. Loving sister of Susan (Allan) Retzky. Dear sister-in-law of Jean (George) Alpervitz and the late Ronald Gates. Devoted daughter of the late Jack and the late Teddi Kotlus. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
