Sanford Kaplan, 83, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 24 October 2018. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 28 October 2018 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Tamara Kolton officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
The family of Sanford Kaplan will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, October 28 at the residence of Mark and Amy Lazare, 4661 Walnut Glen, West Bloomfield MI 48323. Family and friends will gather informally immediately following interment through Sunday evening. Family members include: Beloved husband of 59 years of Rita Kaplan. Cherished father of Jill Kaplan and Kenneth (Deborah) Kaplan. Proud grandfather of Josh (Julie) Kaplan, Jessica Kaplan, Meghan (Kevin) Kusina, and Kevin Codd. Loving brother of Barbara (Dr. Seymour) Adelson. Dear brother-in-law of Geraldine (Saul) Lazare. Adored son of the late Avis and the late Lawrence Kaplan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
