Celia Roth, 93, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 21 April 2018. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE . Celia Roth, née Goose, 93, of West Bloomfield died April 21, 2018 with her two sons by her side. She was born in Detroit where she lived most of her life surrounded by many friends and family, including Florence, Judy, Karen, Paula and Fritzi. At the end of her life she was grateful for and fond of her caregivers Susan and Ellie. Ceil got tremendous enjoyment from spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always enjoyed a good laugh and made people feel special. She was also a prolific knitter and an expert Mah Jong and card player. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard and her ten siblings, Eva Gerson, David Goose, Rose Chankin, Shirley Katz, Nettie Beigal, Hyman Goss, Max Goose, William Goose and Anne Schonberg. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Sanford Roth and Anne Stoddard, and Barry and Amy Roth; grandchildren, Hannah Roth and John Mattera, Matthew Roth, Molly Roth and Olivia Roth; great-grandchildren, Leon and Nina Roth Mattera. There will be a memorial service scheduled at a later date.
