Merle Harris, 89, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 25 March 2018. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 27 March 2018 at 11:30 AM . Rabbi Harold Loss officiated. The family of Merle Harris will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, March 28 at the residence, 5158 Woodlands Trail, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. The phone number is 248-540-2777. Friends are welcome Tuesday immediately following the burial at Beth El Memorial Park through Tuesday evening; Friends are welcome Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. and from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Family members include: Beloved husband of the late Shirley Harris. Cherished father of Steven (Gina) Harris, Jeffrey (Jamie) Harris, and Julie Harris. Proud grandfather of Rachel (fiance Benjamin Berg) Harris and Daniel Harris. Loving brother of Alfred Harris and the late Suzanne (the late Joseph) Orley. Also survived by his loving companion, Jacqueline Harris Gard, many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
