FUNERAL DETAILS
Matilda "Mattie" FredrickMatilda "Mattie" Fredrick, 94, of Southfield, Michigan, died after sunset on 23 September 2017. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 25 September 2017 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Mark Miller officiated. Click to watch a video of the recorded service. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Matilda "Mattie" Fredrick will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, September 27 at the residence of Paula and Michael Ceresnie, 6777 Edinborough, West Bloomfield MI 48322. Friends are welcome immediately following interment Monday through the evening. The family is gathering Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., and Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO A NUT ALLERGY IN THE FAMILY, PLEASE DO NOT SEND SHIVA TRAYS WITH NUTS. THANK YOU. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late David C. Fredrick. Cherished mother of Paula (Michael) Ceresnie and Gail (Kenneth) Posner. Loving grandma of Eric Ceresnie, Justin (Ashley) Ceresnie, Alan (Michelle) Posner, and Jeremy (Ali) Posner. Proud great-grandmother of Dalia and Amelia Ceresnie, Johannah Ceresnie, and Asher Posner. Dear sister of Blanche (the late Benjamin) Brant. Treasured aunt of Norman Brant, Elaine (the late Jeffrey) Surnow, Sheila (the late Raymond) Randel, the late Jacqueline Brant. Matilda was an active member of Pioneer Women and the Emerald Club, a Holocaust Group the her late husband David and Matilda were very active in while living in Florida.
