Lucille CherneyLucille Cherney, 90, of Las Vegas formerly of Detroit, died on 09 September 2017. The Funeral was held at GRAVESIDE on Thursday, 14 September 2017 at 11:30 AM . Rabbi Michael Moskowitz officiated. Interment at Nusach Harie Cemetery.
The family of Lucille Cherney will be gathering through the evening of Friday, September 15 at the residence of Myrna & Sandy Horne, 24365 Power Drive, Farmington Hills MI 48336. Friends are invited back to the house for shiva immediately following the interment service and through the evening with religious services conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. On Friday, the family invites friends to visit at the home and invites friends to services at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Shir Shalom. Family members include: Lucille is survived by her beloved children of whom she was very proud, son Dr Kenneth Cherney (Sarah Bardenwerper) and her loving, devoted daughter Pam Cherney; and her beloved grandchildren Peter and Joey. Lucille was the loving and devoted sister of Myrna (the late Tony) Horne; loving aunt and best friend of her niece Sandy Horne; adored aunt of Debi (Lee) Weinstein, Michele (Larry) Maloff; the late Sherry Maloff and many other loving family and friends. Lucille was the forever loving wife of the late Dr. Wallace Cherney, loving sister of the late Dr. Yale Miller, and loving daughter of the late Sadie and David Miller.
