Dr. Herman Bennett, 91, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 08 September 2017. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 11 September 2017 at 1:00 PM . Family members include: Beloved husband of 70 years of Geraldine Bennett. Cherished father of Dr. Steven (Claudia) Bennett, Debra (David) Rosenberg and Laurie (Barry) Leder. Loving papa of Cole Bennett, Alec Bennett, Amy Rosenberg, Melissa Rosenberg, Brent (April) Leder and Lindsay Leder. Proud great-papa of Brighton & Brinkley Leder. Dear brother of the late Lillian (the late Robert) Hirsch. Brother-in-law of Phyllis Meyers and the late Dr. Milton Meyers. Also survived by his long time business associate Nancy Dicosmo and by many loving nieces and nephews and a world of friends. The family of Dr. Herman Bennett will gather following interment on Monday at Temple Shir Shalom, 3999 Walnut Lake Road West Bloomfield, MI 48323, and on Tuesday evening September 12, 2017. On Tuesday evening, the family will gather at Temple Shir Shalom from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday evenings.
