Allen Zemmol
Allen Zemmol, 86, of Beverly Hills, Michigan, died on 12 May 2017. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Monday, 15 May 2017 at 11:00 AM . Family members include: Beloved husband of 62 years of Lita Schechter Zemmol. Cherished father of Miriam (Steve) Wolock, Deborah (Joel) Minkoff and Jonathan I. (Luna) Zemmol. Loving grandfather of Tali Zechory, Ilan (Audrey Gelman) Zechory, Maya Wolock, Caren (Ari Lampear) Minkoff, Michael (Lainie) Minkoff, Benjamin (Fiancee Sarah Callahan) Minkoff, Joshua (Fiancee Kaylee Heller) Minkoff, Sally Rose Zemmol, David Zemmol, Joey Zemmol and Alex Zemmol. Adoring great-grandfather of Eitan Minkoff, Ori Minkoff and Eva Lampear. Dear brother of the late Jenny (the late William) Roby, Bernard (Caroline) Zemmol and the late Walter Zemmol. Brother-in-law of Lois Zemmol, the late Dr. Daniel Schechter and Sanda Schechter. Devoted son of the late Julius & the late Anna Zemmol. The family invites friends to visit on Monday immediately following the interment service and through the evening. On Tuesday and Wednesday the family asks friends to visit from 2-5p.m. and again from 6:30-9p.m. Religious services 7:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday at the residence, 21501 W. 13 Mile, Beverly Hills MI 48025. On Thursday, Religious services 5:30 p.m. at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, 27375 Bell Road, Southfield MI 48034 and on Friday at 5:45 p.m. Allen was a loving family man, brilliant mind, dedicated lawyer, committed civil rights activist, proud Democrat, devoted undergraduate and Law School alum of University of Michigan. An uncommonly good-natured and witty man, who lived life with his whole-heart.
