Harry Elkins, 95, of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, died on 06 January 2017. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL - GARDEN CHAPEL on Monday, 09 January 2017 at 1:30 PM . Rabbi David Polter officiated. Interment at Beth El Memorial Park, 28120 6 Mile Road, Livonia MI 48152.
The family of Harry Elkins will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, January 10 at the residence of Sasha Bialock, 7251 Cottonwood Knoll, West Bloomfield MI 48322. The phone number is 248-320-8711. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 Monday and Tuesday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of the late Astrid Irene Elkins. Dear brother of Sadie Bialock and the late Doris Fishman. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and friends. He was a retired teacher and a renowned horticulturist specializing in rare plants.
