Dr. Howard Stuart RossmanDr. Howard Stuart Rossman, 66, of West Bloomfield, died on 15 February 2016. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 17 February 2016 at 12:00 PM . Family members include: Beloved husband of Sonda Rossman. Cherished father of David Rossman (Partner Matthew Shuman) and Dr. Lindsey Rossman (Daniel Canvasser). Also survived by former wife Randie Rossman. Dear brother of Dr. Martin (Mie) Rossman. Devoted son of the late Manuel and the late Marion Rossman. Uncle of Marisa (Leon) Sultan and Mariel Rossman. Great-uncle of Teddy Sultan. Son-in-law of Janet and Thomas Karchon. Also survived by his puppy Gracie Lu Rossman. The family of Dr. Howard Stuart Rossman will be gathering for shiva immediately following interment on Wednesday from 2:30-8:00 p.m. at Temple Israel, 5725 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield, Michigan 48323.
Dr. Rossman is remembered for his compassion, intelligence and dedication to the field of Multiple Sclerosis. He valued education and was passionately involved in continuing education and the field of research. Dr. Rossman received numerous recognitions throughout his distinguished career including the Distinguished Fellow Award and the Distinguished Educator Award from the American College of Neuropsychiatrists. He will be lovingly remembered by many patients, co-workers and friends.
