Sidney Chafetz, 96, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 22 August 2016. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 25 August 2016 at 2:30 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Sidney Chafetz will be gathering through the afternoon of Friday, August 26 at the residence of Vern and Karen Gordon, 31073 Applewood Lane, Farmington Hills MI 48331. The phone number is 248-661-2205. Religious services will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved husband of the late Leona Chafetz. Cherished father of Francine (Mark) Adler, the late Bobby Chafetz and the late Richard Chafetz. Loving grandfather of Jaimie, Michael and Adam Kurtagh, Zachary (Karrie) Chafetz, Carolyn (Alli) Adler, and Michelle (Bruce) Twersky. Proud great-grandfather of Benjamin and Joshua Chafetz, and Chase Twersky. Dear brother of the late Cylvia (the late Harold) Warren and the late Seymour Chafetz.
