Louise Glattstein Oram, 87, beloved mother of Lisa Oram (Amherst, MA), Ronda Oram (Northbrook, IL), and Renee Oram (West Bloomfield, MI) died peacefully in Boynton Beach, FL on April 20, 2024. She loved her sons-in-law Steve Brown, Gregg Pavalon, and Marc Mitchell as her own children. She adored her “fabulous five” grandchildren Resa Magill Clayton (Lance), Jenna Magill, Isabel Oram-Brown, Rachel Oram-Brown, and Lucas Oram-Mitchell. Louise is the devoted daughter of the late Isadore and the late Rita Glattstein, and sister of the late Alice Ahart and the late Leon Glattstein. During her professional career as a teacher at the Child Development Center at Southfield Public Schools, she touched the lives of many young children and their families. Many of her colleagues from those years remained close friends. Louise will be missed by her extended family and a large circle of friends in Florida and Michigan with whom she spent many hours in her retirement playing mahjong, seeing movies, dining in restaurants, going to theater, and being on the water. Her warmth and welcoming nature will be remembered also by those she met only briefly.

Cards and condolences may be sent to 2754 Peterboro Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323.
