Lillian Mattes, 96, of West Lafayette, Indiana, died on 26 May 2016. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 29 May 2016 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Tamara Kolton officiated. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Dr. Max W. Mattes; cherished mother of Dr. Jules (Ruth) Mattes, Dr. Jeffrey (Amy) Mattes and Dr. Richard (Melinda) Mattes; loving grandmother of Darya Mattes, Rachel (Duncan) Greenberg, Margaret Mattes, Malcolm (Michelle) Mattes, Vanessa (Ellie) Zack, Mitchell Mattes, Brian (Elise) Mattes, Audrey (Andrew) Paulauski, and Matthew Mattes; proud great-grandmother of Max and Ella Paulauski, Josephine Mattes and Adena Zack. Devoted daughter of the late Gedaliah and the late Devorah Stein.
