Douglas Shapiro, 64, of Traverse City, Michigan, died on 09 May 2016. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 11 May 2016 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi Tamara Kolton officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
Family members include: Loving partner of 37 years of Nancy Linkner Lieberman; cherished step-father of Erika (Aaron) Rizak; loving grandfather of Leah, Eliza and Scarlett Rizak; devoted son of the late Leonard and the late Roma Shapiro. Also survived by loving members of the Linkner family; loving cousins Ronnie Walton and Gale Walton; and by best friend Gloria Kogan.
