Dr. Norman J. Bolton, 81, of Beverly Hills, Michigan, died on 06 April 2016.

The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Friday, 08 April 2016 at 10:00 AM .

Rabbi Joseph Krakoff officiated.

The family of Dr. Norman J. Bolton will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, April 10 at the residence, 31470 E. Bellvine Trail, Beverly Hills MI 48025. The phone number is 248-646-6650.

Religious services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Family members include:
Beloved husband of the late Sheila Bolton; cherished father of Bryan Bolton, David (Julie) Bolton, and Wendy Bolton; loving zadie of Eric Bolton, Corey Bolton, and Benjamin Hanscom-Bolton; devoted son of the late Bernard and the late Esther Bolton; dear brother of Kenneth (Paula) Bolton and Dr. Steven (Dr. Jane Kelley) Bolton.

Dr. Bolton received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1954 and graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1958. Following school, he did his internship at Harper Hospital in Detroit and his surgical residency at Sinai Hospital in Detroit. After his residency, Dr. Bolton served as a Captain in the U.S. Army from 1962-1964. He was in private practice from 1966 until the time of his death and served as Chief of Staff at Sinai Hospital from 1986-1989. Dr. Bolton served on the Michigan Board of Medicine from 1983-1990 and was the Board's Chairman from 1987-1990. He published several surgical articles and was a member of numerous medical and surgical societies. He was also a Platinum Life Member of The American Contract Bridge League and a member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
