Dr. Daniel Gilbert
Dr. Daniel Gilbert, 87, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died on 21 April 2015. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Thursday, 23 April 2015 at 12:30 PM . Rabbi Paul Yedwab officiated. The family of Dr. Daniel Gilbert will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, April 26 at the residence of Ruth and Steven Chaness, 29606 High Valley Road, Farmington Hills MI 48331. The phone number is 248-930-8853. The family will be gathering on Thursday immediately following the interment, on Friday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00-9:00 p.m. There will be no Shiva on Saturday. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of 55 years of Jo Gilbert. Cherished father Steven Gilbert, Julie (Jim) Cahill, Ruth (Steven) Chaness, Margo (Karl) Zakalik, and the late Hope Anne Gilbert. Proud grandfather of Sam and Jessi Gilbert, James and Jake Cahill, David and Samantha Chaness, Brad and Jack Gurwin, and Naomi Zakalik. Dear brother of Joseph (the late Shyrle) Gilbert and the late Allan Gilbert. Loving brother-in-law of Anita Lieberman. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Devoted son of the late Philip and the late Eva Gilbert.
