Helen Newman, 92, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 12 March 2015. The Funeral was held at GRAVESIDE on Monday, 16 March 2015 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Paul Yedwab officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Beth El Memorial Park, 28120 6 Mile Road, Livonia MI 48152.
The family of Helen Newman will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, March 17 at the residence of Brian and Alexandra Newman, 2769 West Bloomfield Oaks Drive, West Bloomfield MI 48324. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Sidney Newman, Jr. Cherished mother of Joan Behrmann and Lawrence (Kristine Johnson) Newman. Loving grandmother of Marcy (Jonathan) Farrell, Rebecca (Joshua Rubin) Behrmann, Simon Behrmann, Brian (Alexandra) Newman, and Eric (fiancee Jillian Stoorza) Newman. Proud great-grandmother of Sammy, Elana, Amelie, Bailey, and Benjamin. Devoted daughter of the late Belle and the late Moses Blumberg. Loving sister of the late Shirley (the late Eddie) Persin and the late Richard Blumberg. Dear sister-in-law of Alice Blumberg, Leonard Forrest, and the late Sylvia Forrest. Helen was a caring aunt, great-aunt, and great-great aunt to many.
