Irving Merkovitz, 85, of Cape Coral, FL and Novi, MI, died on 25 May 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 27 May 2014 at 12:00 PM . The family of Irving Merkovitz will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, May 29 at the residence of Janis and Larry Shulman, 30981 Westwood, Farmington Hills MI 48331. The phone number is 248-788-1356. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of the late Lorraine Merkovitz. Cherished father of Janis (Larry) Shulman, Jill (Randy) Coleman, Gail (Steve) Guth and Denise (the late Ed) Poznanski. Proud Grandfather of Brian (Rachel) Shulman, Julie Shulman and Michael Shulman; Ben, Adam and Cori Coleman; Hannah and Alana Guth; Alex and Brad Poznanski. Loving brother of the late Ralph Merkovitz. Dear brother-in-law of Elaine Merkovitz and the late Franklin (the late Gail) Gettleson. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
