Harvey Pianko He is survived by his children, Sherry Pianko and her partner Rick Segal, Kathy and Michael Schultz; grandchildren, Rebecca and David Wald, Elizabeth and Jonathon Schultz, and Jessica Schultz; great grandchildren Aidan, Naomi and Edie Wald, Owen and Perry Schultz, and former wife and friend, Doris Luria. Harvey Pianko, veteran, crossword puzzle enthusiast, music and animal lover, was the son of Sally and Jack Pianko, brother of Marty Pianko, husband of the late Tamara Brams, and beloved cousin of Marilyn Schaefer. Harvey's legacy lives on by helping others as a Gift of Life organ and tissue donor. Upon his request, the family has donated his body to Wayne State University. A memorial service will be held at a future date for the immediate family.
