Susan HirschThe Funeral was held at A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE. Rabbi Michael Moskowitz officiated. Susan passed away peacefully at her home in Birmingham, MI, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. She will be dearly missed by her loving and devoted husband Arnold Hirsch, and extensive family and friends. We were all blessed by her wit, intellect and generosity. Treasured family: Aaron Hindley (Reann); Laurie Hirsch Tennent (Gordon Cox), David Hirsch (Lynn), Melissa Hirsch Steckel, Holly Bunjac (Drew), beloved nieces, nephews and grandchildren Madilyn Hindley, Ned Hindley, Evelyn Hindley, Sarah Tennent, Ben Scheiwe, Max Steckel, Scarlet Steckel, Emily Hirsch and Tatum Hirsch. Beloved parents Harold and Kate Turner raised their daughters, Susan and Sally, in Grand Rapids, MI. Susan attended the University of Michigan and graduated with honors. She went on to become a highly regarded and accomplished business professional. She was a lifelong advocate for social justice and supporter for the most vulnerable in our community. She had a big heart. The family will be gathering Wednesday, September 28th from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the residence of 1255 Pierce, Birmingham, MI 48009.
