Dr. Gerald Sherman
Dr. Gerald Sherman, 88, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 24 November 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 26 November 2024 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Aaron Starr and Hazzan Propis officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Machpelah Cemetery, 21701 Woodward, Ferndale MI 48220.
Family members include: Beloved husband of 63 years to Renee Sherman. Treasured father of Mike (Alexis Schostak) Sherman, Ted (Emily) Sherman, and Jackie (Erik) Stamell. Treasured grandfather of Jason, Eric, Tom, Andrew, and Adeline Sherman; Alex, Bradley, and Charlie Stamell; Hayley and Benji Schostak. Loving brother of Florence (Richard) Abel and the late Irving (Ann Harris) Sherman. Dear son of the late Blanche and the late Benny Sherman. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Immediately following the interment service, family and friends will be gathering at the residence, 3291 Montmarte in West Bloomfield until 5:00 p.m. Shiva will continue Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with religious services at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday and Sunday, Shiva will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with religious services at 7:00 p.m. Minyan services will be held on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, 27375 Bell Rd. in Southfield. It is suggested that those who wish to further honor the memory of Dr. Gerald Sherman may do so by making a contribution to: A Charity of one's choice |
