Leon Schurgin
Leon Schurgin, 83, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died after sunset on 29 September 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 01 October 2024 at 3:00 PM . The family of Leon Schurgin will be gathering through the afternoon of Wednesday, October 02 at the residence, 1081 Park Place Court, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. Family and friends will be gathering on Tuesday immediately following the interment and on Wednesday from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Religious services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. Family members include: Beloved husband of 60 years of the late Audrey Schurgin. Cherished father of Karen (Robert Brunhild) Schurgin, Debbie Schurgin, Brian (Tasha) Schurgin. Adored grandfather of Rachel and Ilyssa Brunhild, Jacob and Louie Schurgin Custard, and Ava and Nina Schurgin. Adored brother of Miriam (Ralph) Silverstein, Arthur (Cindy) Schurgin, and the late Michele Lachman and brother-in-law of Roy Lachman, Marilyn Nathanson, and Alan (Carina Haley) Nathanson. Son of the late Ruth and the late Ben Schurgin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
