Dorothy Goldstick
Dorothy Goldstick, 90, of Novi, Michigan, died on 03 September 2024. The Funeral was held at Graveside at Machpelah Cemetery, 21701 Woodward Ave, Ferndale MI 48220 on Tuesday, 10 September 2024 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Marla Hornsten and Cantor Neil Michaels officiated. Family members include: Beloved daughter of the late Nathaniel and the late Ella Goldstick. Cherished sister of the late Jean (the late Charles) Polacheck, the late Sandrea (the late Max) Chait, and the late John (the late Betty) Goldstick, foster sister, the late Edith (late Leopold) Samuel. Loving aunt of David (the late Karen) Polacheck, Jonathan (Kristen Dean) Polacheck, Michael (the late Patsy Jimenez) Polacheck, Saul Chait (Terri Toso), the late Mark Chait, Miriam (the late Ken) Siegfried, Donn (Debbie) Goldstick, Joel (Patty) Goldstick, and Nanci (Thomas) Berg. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Dorothy attended Wayne State University as a theater major and worked as a clothing model for several years. She worked as an asst. buyer for Hudson’s for 21 years. She was a talented needleworker, a life member of the Embroiderer’s Guild of America where she held several leadership positions. She was a lifelong member of Temple Israel. Shiva will be held privately.
