Marilynn R. GordonMarilynn R. Gordon, 93, of Beverly Hills, Michigan, died on 06 June 2024. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Sunday, 09 June 2024 at 11:00 AM . Rabbi Joseph Krakoff officiated. The family of Marilynn Gordon will be gathering through the afternoon of Sunday, June 09 at The Shiva Center at Clover Hill Park Cemetery, 2425 E. 14 Mile Rd., Birmingham MI 48009. Family and friends will gather following interment until 2:00 p.m. Marilynn Gordon, widow of Seymour “Sease” Gordon, died peacefully on June 6, 2024 at her home. Marilynn was born on September 24, 1930 to Max and Irene Pensler in Detroit, Michigan. She was lucky to have a wonderful step-father in the late Harry Kraft. A Native Detroiter, Marilynn attended Central High School, then received her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Wayne University. Her biggest passions were her Jewishness, and her family. Marilynn is survived by her children Nancy Gordon, Richard Gordon (Michelle) and Carol DeVore (Mark), five grandchildren Rachel Orlansky (Adam), Adam Gordon (Abby), Zachary DeVore (Elliana), David DeVore (Grace) and Matthew DeVore, and, four great-grandchildren Joey, Edward, Magnolia and Talia. She was predeceased by her brother, Alvin Pensler, sister, Joyce Kraft, brother and sister-in-law, Hank and Marion Gordon; surviving are her beloved brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Sylvia Gordon. The family encourages everyone attending the service to wear a face mask. It is suggested that those who wish to further honor the memory of Marilynn R.
