Dr. J. Barry Rubin, 84, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and Boca Raton, Florida, died on 04 January 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 08 January 2024 at 12:00 PM . The family of Dr. J. Barry Rubin will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, January 10 at the residence, 4778 Overton Cove, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. Family and friends will be gathering on Monday immediately following the interment and on Tuesday and Wednesday beginning at 6:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of Carole Kaftan Rubin and the late Debra Rubin. Cherished father of Laura and Scott Dresner, Suzanne and Greg Shulman, Louie and Julie Rubin, Scott and Dr. Beth Rubin, Nicole Rubin, Jeffrey and Marla Kaftan, and Lori Kaftan. Proud grandfather of the late Jason Shulman, Brandon and Erin Shulman, Alison Shulman and Mark Little, Emily and Adam Rubin, Jake and Eli Rubin, Austin, Jordyn, and Alexa Dresner, Elliot, Amelia, and Asher Kaftan, and Brooks and Quinn Barron. Adoring great-grandfather of Ryan Shulman. Loving brother of Sandra and Dr. Martin Tessler, and Dr. Michael and Roz Rubin. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
