Professor David Alan Golumbia, 60, of Richmond, Virginia, formerly of Detroit, Michigan, died on 14 September 2023. The Funeral was held at Graveside at Beth El Memorial Park, 28120 W 6 Mile Rd, Livonia MI 48152 on Tuesday, 19 September 2023 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss officiated. The family of Professor David Alan Golumbia will be gathering through the afternoon of Tuesday, September 19 at the residence of Dr. Linda Golumbia, 33000 Covington Club Drive, #37, Farmington Hills MI 48334. Family and friends will be gathering immediately following the interment until 5:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved son of Dr. Linda Golumbia, and Arthur and Linda Golumbia. Cherished brother of Nancy (Susan Eachus) Golumbia. Special uncle of Jacob Golumbia. Loving nephew of Dr. Richard Axelrod, Sherri (the late Charles) Tobias, the late Dr. Eugene (Charlene) Axelrod, and the late Dr. Daone Kaufman. Also survived by many loving cousins, colleagues and friends. David was a Professor of English at Virginia Commonwealth University.
