Irene Lillian Rutman Goodman died on 14 July 2023. The Funeral was held at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home in Illinois on Tuesday, 18 July 2023 at 12:15 PM . The family of Irene Lillian Rutman Goodman will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, July 20 at the residence of Lesley and Dr. Jay Kutinsky, 35485 Woodfield Drive, Farmington Hills MI 48331. Family and friends will be gathering on Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Religious services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Irene Lillian Rutman Goodman of Chicago, died in West Bloomfield, Michigan on July 14, 2023. Married to the late Alvin Lester Goodman for 63 years, they traveled extensively around the world throughout their marriage. She was a proud volunteer at Michael Reese Hospital’s Thrift Shop for over 50 years. Irene had a zest for life, loved traveling, and writing poetry about her life and loving family who were the jewels of her life. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lesley and Dr. Jay Kutinsky of Michigan, Karen and Richard Cohn of Indiana; grandchildren, Dr. Ilana Kutinsky and husband Dr. Michael Brager of Michigan, Dana and Rob Gelick of California, Adam and his wife, Angie Kutinsky of Michigan and Auri Rahimzadeh of Indiana; her amazing crew of 7 great-grandchildren who she adored, Charlotte and Delaney Brager, Ross, Leah and Brent Gelick, Jonah and Jack Kutinsky; sister-in-law Angie Rutman married to Irene’s late brother Allen "Sonny" Rutman, and many loving nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
