Mary Blitz, 98, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 28 May 2023. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 31 May 2023 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Mary Blitz will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, June 01 at the residence of Dennis and Gayle Blitz, 3810 Wabeek Lake Drive E., Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. Family and friends will be gathering on Wednesday following interment until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Religious services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Louis Blitz. Cherished Mother of Dennis (Gayle) Blitz, Beverly (Michael) Wallace, and Andy (Lauren) Blitz. Loving Grandmother of Dr. Jason (Stacey) Vieder, Brian (Jenny) Vieder, Marla (Andrew) Russell, Brian (Jodi) Tepper, Lauren Blitz, Jodi (Jason) Krefetz, Ricki (Justin) Brockman, Jillian (Nick) Porterfield and Max (Rebecca) Blitz. Loving GG (Great-Grandmother) of Carter Altruda; Jordyn, Allie & Noah Tepper; Sam, Gabe & Lindsay Vieder; Lily & Rebecca Russell; Laila, Tatum & Harper Krefetz; Cooper, Benjamin & Billie Brockman; Jacob, Madeleine & Violet Vieder; Kobe & Lennon Porterfield; Oliver & Natalie Wallace. Sister of David (Rita) Olshansky and the late Martin (Pearl) Olshansky and Sister-in-law of the late Frances Sonne, the late Lillian Markle, and the late Kay Kahn. Also survived by Dr. Stephen Tepper and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
