Winifred "Wynn" Wechsler
Winifred "Wynn" Wechsler, 86, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 21 May 2023. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 23 May 2023 at 11:00 AM . Rabbi Daniel Schwartz officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
The family of Winifred "Wynn" Wechsler will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, May 24 at the residence of Roger and Debbie Wechsler, 7247 Riverstone Road, West Bloomfield MI 48322. Family and friends will be gathering on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Religious services will be held both days at 7:00 p.m. Wynne was born in Detroit, Michigan to Sandy/Tootsie and David Gooze on February 4, 1937, and was a graduate of Mumford High School. Wynne was the beloved wife of the late Harvey Wechsler for 56 years. Cherished mother of Susan Majors (the late H. Jonathon Siegel & the late David Majors), Deborah H. Wechsler, Sheldon/Sonny (Christine) Wechsler, and Roger/Bz (Deborah) Wechsler. Adored grandmother of Stacy (John O’Connor and the late Eric Patti) Patti O’Connor, Matthew (Erica) Wechsler, Samuel Siegel, Jacob Wechsler, and Rachel Wechsler. Loving great-grandmother of Thomas Patti and Wynne Wechsler. She was proceeded in death by her sister Faye (Bob) Syner and is survived by sister Barbara Ephraiam, brother Gordon (Ivone) Meltzer, and cousin Millie Mertz. Treasured aunt of Dr. Steven (Annette) Rossmore, Jerry Garber, Sally Garber, and Gloria Garber. Dearest friend of Tama (Ashley) Gorman. Special thanks to caregivers Sandra DeLeon, Vivienne Shaw, and friend of Rabbi Yerachmiel Rabin.
