Lillian Efros Kaufman
Lillian Efros Kaufman, 98, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died after sunset on 21 January 2023. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 23 January 2023 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Aaron Bergman, Rabbi Joseph Krakoff, and Hazzan Daniel Gross officiated. Family members include: Cherished mother of Alan (Sue) Kaufman, Steven (Ellen Karpman) Kaufman, and the late Judie Kaufman. Dear grandmother of Jodie (Jamie Davis) Kaufman Davis, Emily (Josh Hunegs) Kaufman Hunegs and Danny (Morgan) Kaufman. Treasured great-grandmother of Ella, Madeline and Jonah Davis, Aiden, Sadie and Golda Hunegs, and Sophie and Henry Kaufman. Adored sister of Beverly (the late Norman) Willett, the late Leonard (Margot) Efros, and the late Jerry (the late Ada) Efros. Lillian was the daughter of the late Max and the late Rose Efros. Special thanks to Lillian’s devoted caregivers. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family and friends will be gathering on Monday from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at Adat Shalom Synagogue, located at 29901 Middlebelt Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334. On Tuesday, family and friends will be gathering from 1:00-4:30 p.m. at the residence of Alan and Sue Kaufman, 1516 Goddard Court, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302, and then from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at Adat Shalom Synagogue. There will be no shiva immediately following the funeral service on Monday. Religious services will be held at Adat Shalom Synagogue on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Due to a food allergy, please do not send any food to the shiva house.
