Oscar J. Behrendt
Oscar J. Behrendt, 87, of Royal Oak, Michigan, died on 04 January 2023. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Friday, 06 January 2023. Rabbi Joshua Bennett officiated. Oscar J. Behrendt was born July 17, 1935 in Detroit. He was the dear father of Debra (Jamie) Gibbs and David ( Linda) Behrendt; loving grandfather to five grandchildren Ricky Gibbs, Cole Gibbs and Olivia Gibbs. Meagan Behrendt and Amiya Behrendt. He was the devoted son of the late Sol Behrendt and the late Julia Ginsberg. He was the last surviving of their eight children, predeceased by Adele Rappaport, Farah Velazquez, Betty Monasterski, Charlie Behrendt, Phyliss Talbot, Theresa Behrendt and Gordon Behrendt. He served in the Korean War in the U.S. Army and received an Honorable discharge. It is suggested that those who wish to further honor the memory of Oscar J.
