FUNERAL DETAILS
Lee KepesLee Kepes, 90, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 14 December 2022. The Funeral was held at Congregation Beth Shalom, 14601 W. Lincoln, Oak Park, Michigan on Sunday, 18 December 2022 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi David Nelson officiated. Click to watch a video of the recorded service. Lee and her husband Stewart were founding members of Congregation Beth Shalom, where Lee eventually became Sisterhood president. They were both master gardeners, and she took great pride in her garden. Her proudest accomplishment was her four sons as they were the center of her life, along with the rest of her extended family. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Stewart Kepes. Cherished mother of Michael Kepes, Garry (Brenda) Kepes, Brian (Fern) Kepes, and Gregg (Shelly Brodsky) Kepes. Adoring grandmother of Jessica (Eric) Sobotka, Ross Kepes, Lauren (Adam) Rubin, Maxwell (Carly) Kepes, Joseph Kepes, Samuel Kepes, and Nia Kepes. Proud great-grandmother of Abraham Rubin, Wallace Rubin, and Weston Sobotka. Loving sister of the late Abraham (the late Fay) Brickner and the late Sidney (the late Rachel) Brickner. Dear sister-in-law of the late I. Gerald (the late Evelyn) Kepes. She also leaves behind many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family of Lee Kepes will be gathering from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 19th at the residence of Fern and Brian Kepes, 4615 Pickering, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday at the residence.
