Ronald Steven Melamed
Ronald Steven Melamed, 51, of Charlotte, North Caroline, died on 04 August 2022. Ronald Steven Melamed, age 51, of Charlotte, NC passed away August 4, 2022 after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. Born in Detroit, Michigan on July 15, 1971, he was the son of Frederick (late) and Carol Sue Melamed and grew up in Southfield, MI. Ron attended the University of Michigan for both his undergraduate and law degrees. For the past 15 years he has lived and worked in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife Ella. Ron was an avid gamer who loved great friends, great food and the Grateful Dead. He will be remembered by many for his inexhaustiblespirit,and his ability to make you believe that everything was going to be ok. This man who loved super hero movies had a superpower of his own; his unwavering positivity in the face of adversity. Those left to honor his memory include: his wife Ella, dogs Maddie and Asher of Charlotte, NC, mother Carol Sue (Susie) Melamed of Southfield, MI, mother-in-law, Juanita Walker of Charlotte, NC, sister Dr. Sarah Melamed Theodoroff and her husband Matt Theodoroff, of Portland, Or, brother Marc Melamed and his wife Rebecca, of West Bloomfield, MI, and his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and colleagues. He is preceded in death by his father Frederick Melamed and his father-in-law Lt. Col., John B. Walker, Jr. In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation to Ron’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. There will be a memorial service held in his honor at a later date. |
