Family members include:
Philip B Fischer, of Boca Raton, Florida and Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 23 May 2022. Beloved husband of 64 years of Myrna Fischer. Cherished father of Andrea Fischer (Frank) Newman, Jill Fischer (Mark) Rachesky, and the late Loren Beth Fischer. Loving Papa of Lauren (David) Seidman, David Newman, Allison Rachesky, Samantha Rachesky, Steven Rachesky, and Kate Rachesky. Proud great-grandfather of Benjamin Seidman.

This father of three daughters was a “girl dad” before it was fashionable to be one, as far back as 1958. A lawyer, serial entrepreneur, and investor, Philip B Fischer passed away at the age of 86. He married the love of his life Myrna Patricia Rosen in 1957. They had three children, Andrea, Jill, and Loren, and he loved them fiercely. Always home for dinner, ever present for his beloved wife of 64 years, his daughters and his grandchildren. He served on the Boards of Temple Beth El, the Detroit Regional Chamber, the Michigan Cancer Foundation and the Detroit Wayne County Port Authority. He was always ready to participate in any of his daughters activities – bus supervisor for Blizzard Ski School, Coach – Girls Softball, 6am car pools for swim team, driving instructor, evening bike rides and a friend to all of his daughters friends. His door was always open and he loved people. He showed his daughters love on a daily basis and instilled in them that they could do anything in the World they set their minds to and encouraged them to follow their hearts. He cried more when his daughters left for school, camp and to new cities, then they did. He developed a strong love for the University of Michigan during 25 years in Section 40, before moving to Section 23. He gave his daughters and grandchildren a love for Detroit sports, insisting the entire family spend Thanksgiving at the Detroit Lions game. More than anything he cherished his family. He will be interred wearing his favorite University of Michigan sweats.
